Cautions: people with neuro-muscular transmission disorders, presence of infection at site of injection, pregnancy and lactation. What is Botox and Dysport and how are they different?

Botox ®and Dysport® are prescription medicine made from a naturally occurring purified protein which relaxes muscles. They are used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. By working beneath the surface, they help reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded.

Dysport is very similar to Botox – same price, same duration, but kicks in a little quicker.

When will I see results?

Results are visible within 24-48 hours and reach there peak 2 weeks post treatment.

How long do results last?

Results from Botox and Dysport are not permanent. Effects usually last about 3-4 months depending on treatment area.
